Filaria includes two installation methods to suit your preferred Unity workflow!

METHOD 1 - OPEN WITH VCC

A complete, organised Unity project with the required dependencies configured.

Extract the project, add it to VRChat Creator Companion (VCC) and open directly in Unity.

METHOD 2 - DRAG & DROP

A separate import package for users who prefer working in their own Unity project.

Import the package into a compatible Unity project with the required dependencies installed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Both methods include all 6 PC versions.
• Unity 2022.3.22f1 and compatible VRChat SDK required.
• Open the complete VCC project separately. Do not import the entire project folder into another project.
• Drag & Drop users must install the required dependencies before importing.
• Basic Unity and VRChat uploading knowledge is required.

IMPORTANT: Native FT and Jerry's FT are separate avatar setups. Only one system is needed.

Depending on your selected version, supported options include:

Additional software or configuration may be required depending on your hardware.

STANDARD - GESTURE EXPRESSIONS

Custom gesture expressions included:

IDLE BLINK NOTE: Disable Idle Blink when using gesture expressions to prevent animation conflicts. Eye Bounce can remain enabled.

If experiencing clipping in MMD worlds, disable Idle Blink.

FACE TRACKING - TRACKED EXPRESSIONS

Both Native FT and Jerry's FT versions support compatible tracking for:

Native FT uses VRChat's built-in system, while Jerry's FT uses the VRCFury template with VRCFaceTracking / OSC.

METHOD 1 - OPEN WITH VCC

Recommended for an easy setup!

1. Download and extract the Filaria Unity project.
2. Open VRChat Creator Companion (VCC).
3. Select Projects → Add Existing Project.
4. Select the extracted Filaria project folder.
5. Click Open Project to launch Unity.

The project comes organised with the required dependencies configured!

METHOD 2 - DRAG & DROP

For users who prefer their own Unity project!

1. Create or open a compatible Unity project through VCC.
2. Install the required dependencies.
3. Import the included Filaria Drag & Drop package.
4. Open the included scene or select your preferred avatar prefab.

1. Open VRChat SDK → Show Control Panel.
2. Sign in to your VRChat account.
3. Select your preferred Filaria avatar.
4. Click Build & Publish for Windows.
5. Complete the upload!
